This Christmas, we focus on the idea of the magnitude and enormity of the fact that a King, a ruler, a sovereign has been born. Not only did Jesus not receive the “pomp and circumstance” that most royal births elicit, but this King of Kings would rarely be understood and admired for who He was and of what Kingdom He ruled.

And yet in light of His worth and value as King, Jesus invites us, in the midst of our mess, to join His Kingdom as citizens that He loves and accepts.
