To “beckon” is to use a physical gesture to call someone over to you. Jesus, the incarnate God, constantly invited people in the Gospels to come close to Him, to be near to Him and His invitation continues to us today still. Join us as we kick off a new year with a new series considering the invitations that Jesus gave to people then that He still extends to us today - an invitation to come close.
